The Alton Society has produced a guide “Walks among Alton’s Historic Buildings”, copies of which can be purchased at Waterstones (High Street) and the Allen Gallery in Church St in Alton. You can also get a copy direct from us by emailing thealtonsociety@gmail.com. The guide includes a series of short walks highlighting the key buildings of historical interest in Alton and Holybourne. The walks range from 25 minutes to an hour and a half in duration. It is an ideal Christmas stocking filler!
