The Alton Society has a sub-committee, the Built Environment Group (BEG), which takes the lead on reviewing and commenting on Planning Applications in Alton. A member of the Alton Society’s committee endeavours to attend important planning meetings being held either at Alton Town Council or East Hampshire District Council.
